Wtf
Lady Renee and Lady Kait...I went to see my sister today and she was sleeping with a MAN.

I do hope I never see so much of her again.

Why is she doing that?! What's going on?!

A hoyhoy! I can't be a knight without dragons!

August 18th, 2008

Lydia is becoming ever more adventurous when we are alone together, and while I am certainly not averse to the furthering of our relationship, I do often wonder if it is coming from her rather poor choice of companions. It that is the case, and her vapid bosom buddies are telling her she should move faster than she wishes, should I feel like I am taking advantage of milady's virtue?

In addition to my worries, I find myself rather inexperienced. I can write sonnets aplenty and wax rhapsodic about our love until the cattle returneth to their abode, but I don't know how to make out. I do hope she does not tire of me and move on to some fiendish cur who grunts, but kisses well and often.

I wish you were here.

I wish I could talk to you. I have no shortage of people to confide in and I suffer from no lack of love, but not a one of the many people surrounding me is my Lady Delilah.

My fondest wish at this very moment, is that you are happy. Because that would mean that missing you has a purpose. And that I could find peace with.

My elder sister, the adventurer, hath phoned us yesterday on a phone line made of woe and crackles. I confess I did not hear much, but she did say that the party is in good stead and they shall have reached King Peter in naught but hours.

And then the devil of a phone line did cut us off mid-sentence which makes it a lousy cur and one I take extreme umbrage with. Be that as it may and lousy curs aside, we shall have our adventurers back anon. I, for one, know that I simply cannot wait.

Brainy
Oftentimes I do believe that life made an egregious error and gave me birth at the jolly old age of twenty. So that, on my upcoming twelfth birthday, I shall not be turning 12 but rather, 32. How very droll, Life. I am not unappreciative of what I have been given, rather I cherish the things with which I have been endowed. I do find, however, that it is rather difficult to amalgamate myself into the social realm of London College. I would rather think on topics that are far advanced beyond 'sports' or 'nipples'. Or giggling because Miss Fairchild's skirt was rather infelicitously tucked into her panty hose, thus showcasing her red and frilly knickers to all of the seventh year boys.

My kingdom for an intelligent conversation!!!

Thank the Heavens for my Lady Lydia. She is, and ever will be, my saving grace. The celebration of her blessed birth is around the corner. And I intend to make it a day to remember for eons to come.

Things are dissolving into insanity in my humble abode, but as far as insanity goes, tis the very best kind. Nora has given birth to a healthy baby girl. I have a new baby sister, Moira. I'm going in to the hospital later and I do wish to play her some music. I'm bringing Spectre's CD with me because I'm mentioned in the album notes and I want to play her the song Deirdre sings in. I saw her before too. She's such a radiating beauty. I do believe I am smitten.

I am greatly disappointed in you, Lady Delilah. But I do hope that wherever you are, you are faring better there than you did here. I shall miss you terribly.

I will keep my solemn oath to you. I shall watch over Young Sir Matthew. I shall be his knight and protector, and he shall be my brother-in-arms, because that was my pledge to you. And I would never break my word.

And now Deirdre has something to show me so I shall take my leave.

Fie, for it be my birthday! I almost recieved a baby for my birthday too, but Lady Delilah was spared the extra hours of labour that would have required. For that I am glad. Welcome to the world, Sir Matthew!

My fair mother hath given me a replica of Excalibur for the day of my birth, and Finian says this summer we shall take a tour of mediaeval England! We shall see sights and appreciate England's brave and bloody past! So what if we're Irish.

Deirdre gave me a 'pimp hat'. Because she's weird.

My 11th birthday is on the 30th day of this month and I do declare I am verily excited about it! Lady Delilah will soon have her son as well, and I am quite looking forward to meeting the little chappy. It will be a happy occasion indeed!

My Lady Lydia and I are attending an equestrian event this coming weekend, and she says she will explain everything to me. I love to see her so happy, and she is certainly in her element there with the horses. She is an absolute natural, and she has tremendous talent.

In more distressing news, my mother saw fit to take me shopping on Saturday. Seven hours later, she'd chattered her way through two shopping centres, spent several hundred pounds, and still hadn't found the perfect cocktail dress she went searching for. She did, however, put a fear in me I shall never forget. I will never again shop with anyone who is not Lady Delilah or Lady Renee! Which makes me dread the day I will have to be fitted for the tuxedo I shall don as Caitlin and Finian take their vows!

Finian has asked my mother for her hand in marriage and she has given him a favourable reply.

This is rather wonderous news, but Deirdre...I do believe it best I stay with you tonight. I fear I may have to hear terrible noises of exertion if I do not. And while I am a brave knight, no one should have to suffer those noises.

I recently submitted a piece of writing to a contest run by a newspaper. It was sent back saying that it was unfair that I had submitted it in the 10-12 age range when clearly I should have been included in the 15-17 age range at least. The other belief was that my parents had helped write it. Clearly, they have never met my parents.

Still, I forebear. When I reach University, I shall no longer be looked down upon by the world at large!

My wonderful sister is now running a theatre and I have taken in the show several times now. It is fantastic, as is Renee's portrayal of the abandoned Medea. Wonderful. I do look forward to the day that I can try my hand at joining this fantastic troupe of actors. And I am very sorry to hear about your sick leader. You have my deepest condolences.

Fair Lady Lydia, I would love to spend some time with you this weekend if you could spare the time.

School starts again soon, and I for one am very glad that my scholarly pursuits can continue. Today Finian took me to Westminster Abbey and it was very glorious indeed! Then we went to Madam Tussaud's and took many a photograph near the dummies though they would never look a lovely as Mam's photos.

Then Mam fed us pot roast. It was ill-advised and is now on her list of foods to avoid at all costs. It tasted like she roasted the pot and fed us that. Never again, I swear that to be true!

Tomorrow I shall visit my lovely Lady Lydia. And worry not, King Peter. As Lady Renee says, I am an honourable knight!

Finian is a most expectional sort of man! He is going to take me to a castle after New Year's and he says they have a rather equisite collection of armour! I am most excited! It shall be a right and noble outing! And then Mam is heading up to Dublin to visit my brother and sister, and I shall stay with Deirdre as she is the only sibling that is worth my time. She and I will have many an adventure together. Mam isn't leaving until Deirdre gets back from her Austrian adventure with her ladies. Vacation is looking to be a wonderous time! I shall not only see armour and spend time with Finian and Deirdre, but I shall spend much time with my Lydia.

I do so like residing in London.

Deirdre, you ought to be ashamed of yourself. There is absolutely no excuse for the way you treated Finian last night! I don't very much care if you do send an army of Amazons after me, you should apologise to him! He is deserving of it! He is a very nice man who doesn't talk down to me and he makes Mam happy. Mam is so much more pleasent to be around when she's happy! Give the man a chance, Deirdre, I do beg of you. He is not alike unto our fathers. He is a different sort of a man, made of kinder things. I know you do not trust easily, but you needn't trust him as this hour. Trust me in his stead. I shall vouch for his sincerity.

At the moment, I cannot vouch for yours! Neither can I vouch for your sanity! What kind of a person does inquire if someone has had all their shots!?

My mother's new companion of the male persuasion is Irish! I regret to say that I have still not met the man. I do believe she's rather hesitant to introduce him to me because that would mean that their relationship is serious. My mother is deluding herself. I shall let her continue, for I do believe this is a lesson she needs to learn by herself.

Lydia is trying to get me to listen to a new CD she likes, but I regret to say that I do not like said CD. I do, however, love my Lady Fair, and so I shall listen to the CD in full anyway.

Oh, and my public address went smashingly.

My mother has been bringing the same man home for some time now. I do wonder if it is not time I meet the fellow and see if he meets my rather high standards of approval. Deirdre, would you like to be present as well, when this meeting occurs? I do believe you would appreciate being part of the screening process. We do not wish her to have yet another 'Patrick' on our hands, do we?

He gave her a diamond necklace and she went into a fit of hysteria, hooting and hollering. I was most unable to finish my chapter on midieval torture devices. I think Caitlin could be a midieval torture device. The Banshee. Fear her! For she is most shrill!

I am making a present for my Lydia in my metalworks class. I took it because I believe a forge is a worthy place to work. I have learned many things, and soon, she shall have her present.

Tomorrow I have to give an opening address at assembly. Wish me much fortitude and luck, my fellow compatriots!

I have ascended the ranks and I am now the student representative president after the rather unfortunate resignation of Billy Crusher. Politics were not for him, I fear. He turned red in front of the school and fled the barracks. I thought quickly and ascended to the front lines to deliver his welcoming address to the school's visiting alumni.

I am most pleased with my victory. The best victories are achieved with quick thinking and bloodshed from neither side.

Mam says sometimes they're achieved with breasts. I am sorely lacking in that department, though I am assured that is a very good thing. I choose to remain thankful for this lack.

My lovely Lydia has an equestrian event this weekend that I shall attend. The next weekend is King Peter's wedding and I could not be more excited! I shall sit on the sidelines and beam with pride as my gorgeous girl walks up the aisle and stands next to her stalwart father as he takes a wife. And as the wife takes him!

Fare thee well!
